You may think: “I am not into all this war stuff. I am a peaceful and nice person!
Havn’t we got enough problems with Islamic terrorists and now you are coming along and talking about the Christian war room?”
Let me give you an example. There is a town in the east of the Ukraine by the name of Mariupol. During the second world war it was part of the soviet union. Now the town leaders had big arguments on how to defend the city and as they sat in the townhall quarrelling about what is the best way to defend the city one of the leaders looked out the window towards the main road only to see German soldiers moving into the city on their motorbikes and tanks without a fight.
It was: Game Over
Bible believing Christianity for the last 20 years has had a similar problem, we did things here and there and focussed on internal things but then we let the enemy walk right in. The attempts to fight off the attack on the church were there but very weak.
Here is a list of areas where as the church in the West we have allowed ourselves to be overrun:
- a compromised Gospel message (bloodless, without repentance, without dealing with sin, without holiness)
- Numbers has been the great mantra of the Church in the West
- Islam was allowed to attack Christianity without any real defence for a long time
- The homosexual agenda dominated by secular people without any real effective Christian response
- Feminism has been allowed to creep into the church with very little resistance
- Transgenderism – where is the Christian response for dealing with this?
- The prosperity Gospel has been allowed to hijack Western Christianity
- Hatespeech – very weak Christian response
- Ecumenicalism where is the Christian the response (churches open to Islamic prayer?)
- Alien agenda
- New Age
- The occult
- The media being out of control
- Emasculation of the male role model
- Attacks on the traditional family model
- Abortion
- Drugs agenda – pharmacia > witchcraft
- The theory of evolution / darwinism
- Climate Change Hoax + new morality based on carbon consumption
- Music corruption – the devils Interval
- The globalist agenda
- Bad theology to outright heresy – Virgin Birth, authenticity of the Bible, special doctrines, divinity of Christ, eschatology, dominianism, positive thinking, word faith movement,
- A small group of atheists managing to remove the 10 commandments from public spaces
What has been the result?
The church has lost relevance in society. People speaking in the public sphere on behalf of Christianity are spineless theologians who follow the Zeitgeist but claim to speak on our behalf.
Good Bible believing churches have been decimated. Churches with an emotional appeal but often with a weak Biblical focus have grown.
Holiness has been replaced with popularism and the message of “deny yourself and follow me” has been replaced with “find yourself and feel good about yourself”.
The power of God has been replaced with expressions of fake spirituality at best and occult manifestations at worst.
The church is in crisis for having refused to fight the war, Church leaders were more concerned about building little empires or so-called ministries often enshrined with some egocentric descriptor i.e. (pastors name)-Ministry than with building the body of Christ and fighting the attacks against the church on a broad basis.
Big leadership has failed. The emerging church leaders have almost destroyed the preaching of the true Gospel message.
It is time for individuals, for small groups to rise up and to take up their role. Create war rooms all over the world and seek God in defining the tasks ahead and in going to war against ideas, arguments and anything setting itself up against the knowledge of God and pave the way to snatch souls from the clutches of the enemy, the devil.
